the man who used to sneak me pound coins when no one else was looking and tell me not to tell anyone, the man i never used to want to kiss goodbye & then when i did - he’d do something silly to make me laugh, the man who as soon as he’d hear an ice cream van - would dig in his pockets and get some money out before anyone had to ask and the man who would take the mickey out of us for having no idea what he was saying, having to get him to repeat himself several times 🙄
